CityFibre Broadband Trial - Terms and
Conditions
1.
Introduction
These terms
and conditions govern the trial of CityFibre
Broadband Service provided by Broadband for Rural Kent ("we,"
"us," or "our") to customers within specified CityFibre network areas in Kent.
2. Trial
Offer
The trial
includes 3 months free broadband service with free set-up and a Zyxel EX5601-T0 2.5Gb Wi-Fi 6 router.
After the
initial 3-month trial period, the service will continue for an additional 21
months at a cost from 25 per month (including VAT) depending on the service
speed you sign up for. Broadband speeds from 150Mbps to 2000Mbps (2Gbps) will
be available on the CityFibre network.
3.
Eligibility
This trial
offer is available only to new customers within designated CityFibre
network areas in Kent.
Customers
must register their interest and be selected to participate in the trial.
You must be
out of contract with your current broadband provider
or the contract must be ending before the end of the trial. This is to ensure
you are able to exit your existing broadband providers
contract before you start paying for this service after the trial period.
4.
Duration of Contract
The total
contract period is 24 months, comprising a 3-month free trial period followed
by a 21-month paid service period.
Customers
are required to commit to the full 24-month period.
5.
Service and Equipment
The service
includes a full-fibre broadband connection using CityFibre s
multi-gigabit full-fibre network.
A Zyxel EX5601-T0 Wi-Fi 6 2.5Gbps broadband router is
provided. This remains the property of B4RK and must be returned to us when the
service is cancelled or migrated to another provider.
6.
Installation
Installation
and connection are free of charge.
Customers
must allow access to their property for the installation of the necessary
equipment.
If we incur
charges for a missed installation appointment then
this cost will be passed on. If there are additional costs for CityFibre to connect your premise then we will confirm the
additional costs before proceeding, if the costs are not acceptable the order
can be cancelled.
7.
Billing and Payments
Direct Debit
must be set up before we place the order with CityFibre.
No charges will be incurred during the initial 3-month trial period.
Starting
from the fourth month, a monthly fee of 25 (including VAT) will be billed.
Payment is
due monthly in advance.
8.
Termination
This service
is being offered as a trial. We want you to test and provide feedback and
hopefully tell your family and friends how amazing your broadband is now. If
you are not happy with this service then we want every
opportunity to work with you and CityFibre to ensure
that we provide you with the best possible service so that we can go on
providing amazing broadband to you and future customers.
If however you wish to end the trial you must give us at least
14-days notice before the end of your trial period.
You will need to return the Wi-Fi router to us, we will provide a return
postage label.
Termination
after the trial period but before the end of the 24-month contract will incur
an early termination fee equivalent to the remaining monthly charges.
9. Usage
Policy
The service
is subject to a fair usage policy to ensure a high-quality experience for all users.
Excessive or
abusive usage may result in throttling of speeds or suspension of service.
10.
Support and Maintenance
We will
provide technical support and maintenance for the duration of the contract.

11.
Amendments
We reserve
the right to amend these terms and conditions with prior notice to customers.
12.
Limitation of Liability
We will not
be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the
service, including but not limited to loss of data or profits.
13.
Governing Law
These terms
and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of
England and Wales.
14.
Acceptance of Terms
By
registering for and participating in the trial, customers accept these terms
and conditions in full.
